Indexing is enabled on the local server, and permissions have been granted to the spolight-v100 folder for users to search the drive remotely. What I have been noticing is that files created by remote users are not being indexed by the server. I have tried enabling indexing on the clients, but I only receive 'Spotlight Search enabled' and it does not actually update the network index with the new files. Has anyone come across this in mavericks and have a helpful suggestion? I do not have time to reindex from the server every couple hours just for files to show up in a spotlight search.
